Rituals Zensation Shower Foam

I’ve been meaning to write about this product for a long time. It came to me in a goody bag when I went to a Debenham’s event but I didn’t get around to using it for a while and when I tried it wow! It’s the Rituals Zensation Organic Rice Milk & Cherry Blossom Foaming Shower Gel Sensation (1) and I just love it!

Then (and I have to be honest here) I was in a little bit of a sulk. I saw on Twitter that there was about to be an event for bloggers given by Rituals and Glossybox. I’m an affiliate partner for Glossybox and I tweeted them and Rituals saying how I loved both the brands – and……..nothing. They blanked me and I’ve had to see everyone else’s blog posts on what a lovely time they had.

And then I got over it. I can’t keep it from you anymore – if you haven’t tried this brand before you are definitely missing out.

The product comes out of the can as a gel but immediately it hits the air it turns into a rich creamy foam (2). Here’s what it looks like the moment it comes out of the can.

With just a small amount of water the foam changes again (3) into the most sensuous lather that is so rich and creamy that you know you are in for a treat.

The scent is amazing it’s not too flowery or too fruity it just smells of luxury! It made my skin feel so soft all day. I kept wondering why my skin smelt and felt so amazing and then I would remember that it was the Rituals Zensation. It also lasts a long time as you don’t need very much to make a lot of lather.

They say:

  • foaming shower gel sensation
  • unique gel-to-foam technology
Squeeze a small amount of gel into your hand – contact with water transforms the gel into a rich, relaxing foam. Zensation combines Rice Milk, a natural ingredient that nourishes the skin and leaves it silky soft, with Cherry Blossom, the Japanese symbol of purity. Enhance your showering ritual with Zensation shower foam by following with Magic Touch body cream to experience the same fragrance sensation.

The cost for 200ml is £8.50 here.

Oh, and Rituals – if you’re reading this –  I really would like to be invited next time – pretty please!

Tell me what you think about Ritual products if you’ve tried them before.

  1. I’ve been using these lately as well having got them from 1 goody bag/beauty box or another. They are lovely, just a bit of an indulgence to spend 8.50 on a shower gel though:) xxx

  2. Sounds lovely. I’ve just bought a Rituals scrub, and after sniffing all the scents in the store, this Cherry Blossom one is divine!!

  3. Lovely review! I use the Sweet Almond Oil and Indian Rose scented one (originally from Glossy Box, but I purchased more for myself) and it really is as good as a luxury branded product, plus the scent lingers on the skin.

    1. Oh I haven’t seen that one it sounds delicious! I haven’t ventured into subscribing to beauty boxes yet as I feel I should trial all the things I get gifted first and “use them up”. Not much like a beauty blogger am I?

      1. I USED to subscribe to Glossy Box when they first launched, in the early days they introduced me to some amazing brands and I did go on to purchase a lot of them (can’t live without HD Brows to line my upper lids).

But I fell out of love with them when they started to include one too many perfume samples I could’ve got free myself and their cheapo ‘own brand’ products in their boxes.

I also wasn’t happy that a lot of the ‘big hitter’ beauty bloggers (this was before I had my own blog) were sent the best products and us mere mortals who paid for our boxes, were given the lesser products. There’s a rant on my blog on this too!
