And so this is Christmas…………..

And so this is Christmas and what have you done? The words of the John Lennon classic  prompt me to reflect on my life over the past year and think about what I’ve achieved and if I’ve done enough and been the best I can be? I guess that it’s hard to know for sure and so I must let those around me decide.

What I do know is that this year has been a really good one. I’ve watched my daughter graduate from university and succeed in getting a job that she enjoys. She is the single most precious thing in my life and she makes me proud everyday.

I’ve found my self this place on the internet where I can write whatever I like and quite a few of you seem to like it too. I’ve made friends with many of you both in person and virtually and my life has been enriched. I’ve been invited to some glamorous locations to attend launches and I’ve been welcomed and included.

I’ve been privileged enough to be part of the lives of some very special people and I am so grateful for that. Some of those people have had to face difficult times and are brave and inspirational – they know who they are.

I’m not a religious person but if I were I would pray for the best for everyone that reads this. Thank you for your friendship and all the views, likes and follows! I wish you everything you dream of for the coming year. Make the most of every moment so that this time next year you’ll be able to look back and remember them all.
