Caudalie’s naming of their skin care range as Premier Cru is a clear signal that it’s top notch. Containing Resveratrol, Viniferine, and Polyphenols and other high performing ingredients to treat all the signs of ageing in one step these are high quality products which is what I’ve come to expect from Caudalie.
This luxurious Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream is designed to provide both long-term anti-ageing action effects as well as those that you’ll notice straight away. If I’m honest – I’m impatient so it’s important to me that I can see a change straight away as well as knowing I’m doing something good for the longer term too. Of course I also love the glamorous look of the packaging with a gold effect in a glass pump dispenser too.
With this product Caudalie promise smoothed and firmed skin; dark circles and puffiness fade away; and a brightened eye area and they back this up with evidence from clinical trials.
Directions are to apply one pump in the morning and evening to the eye contour. Let me tell you one pump is way too much! This stuff goes a long way and I’d suggest pressing down with the slightest pressure on the pump and using even less than a pea size amount – and that will be enough for both eyes. So on a cost per use basis, this 15ml dispenser compares well priced at £49.
I absolutely love this cream. It applies like a dream, sinks in and doesn’t make primers and shadows slide off. I’ve been using a different brand while I’ve been travelling this week and found I really missed it. Caudalie’s tip that you can increase the anti-puffiness and anti-dark circle effectiveness by finishing off with small taps for a micro-draining effect is helpful but I can’t say I’ve tried it. I’m all about applying products as quickly as I can in the morning to get to work and the same in the evening to get to bed. Maybe worth a try at leisure on a weekend though.
Regular readers will know I’ve been loving Caudalie for a while now and you can find reviews of Resveratrol Lift and Vinoperfect Radiance Serum if you’re new to the blog or the brand.
Hope you’ll tell me what you think if you give Caudalie a try.
