How gorgeous is this! I have to confess, until I started blogging I’d never come across this brand. But I’ve learned fast that Leighton Denny is at the top of his game with a whole host of celebrity clients. So when I was given the opportunity to try out* two of his products I jumped at the chance. You can choose from a selection of his products here.
Leighton Denny’s High Performance Nail Colour in I Love Juicy is an amazing rich bright highly pigmented colour that’s described as a “warm, vibrant, deep & rich orange cream shade”. It’s the perfect colour for summer whether it’s to brighten up the office greyness or to look stunning on the beach with a tan. It cost’s £11.00 here.
I put on the first coat of the polish over a base coat and it had great coverage and if I’d been in a hurry I could have got away with one coat. Still I added another and a layer of top coat and it looked amazing! I have to say that I’m not an expert at applying nail products and haven’t got the hang of applying top coat over the edge of the nail so I found that there was a very slight amount of wear on the edges of a couple of the nails by the next day. Other than that it lasted for about 3 days before it started to look shabby.
Then came my opportunity to try out Leighton Denny’s Remove & Go Polish Remover.

What they say:
“Effectively remove your nail varnish with Leighton Denny Remove and Go Polish Remover. The nail varnish remover contains a blend of ingredients that moisturise, strengthen and help protect against brittle nails. Its technologically advanced formula is acetone free and is safe for both natural and artificial nails. The easy to use pot means removing nail varnish has never been easier and is perfect for when you’re in a rush to remove the varnish.”
So what this means is you don’t need cotton wool pads anymore. You just pop your finger in the jar and wriggle it about for a minute or two and the polish has gone! If I were to be hyper critical I did find the smell very strong and needed to wash my hands thoroughly to get rid of it afterwards but it wasn’t a problem. This little miracle worker costs just £5.50 here!
Have you tried out either of these products yet? Let me know how you got on b y leaving a comment below.
