You might know that about three weeks ago I made a wishlist that had a pink theme and a big focus on Milani cosmetics. Well, now that I’ve actually got my hands on the products I thought that it was time I shared my thoughts on them with you.
I really loved the look of this Milani Fierce Foil Eyeshine. I chose the one of the four quad palettes that are named after Italian cities. This one is called Florence and contains shades of copper bronze and gold. The consistency of the shadows is really buttery and the colour intensity is really strong provided that you apply the shadow with your finger. For some reason when you apply it with a brush the foil effect seems to turn into a glittery effect. It’s lovely in its own way but for a true foil effect – use your fingers.
This Milani Illuminating Face Powder in the shade Beauty’s Touch is just so pretty! I just couldn’t resist the floral design with it’s four different shades that you swirl together to add an amazing glow to your face! You can use it purely as blusher but I’ve been using it in the same way as I’ve been using bronzer which is on the apples of my cheeks, then up to the temple and across the brow – down the bridge of my nose and around my jaw line. Each stroke just really light so that the colour hardly shows but gives a veil of luminosity.
The third and last thing on my Milani pink wishlist was this cute Milani Power Lip Lasting Gloss Stain in the shade Strawberry Sugar. In the photo you’ll see it has a really nicely shaped applicator that you can use to draw in a great shape to your lips. You twist up the colour and the gloss/stain is ready to apply. To be fair I think I got a bit carried away with the pink vibe and didn’t make the best colour choice for me. It’s a gorgeous pale pink intensely pigmented gloss that gave me a bit of a flash back to the sixties. It comes in a gorgeous choice of eight colours.
Do you have some favourite Milani products that you have your eye on? I’d love to know what they are.
These products were gifted to me for review but the opinions are my own.
