My 3 Step Beach Prep!

Step 1: Get Beachy Hair

TIGI Bed Head Queen Beach salt spray gives you a soft beachy tousled look fast. It uses Balinese sea salt, dried in the trunks of coconut trees, to create waves and add body and texture to your hair.  The sea salt is known for being rich in minerals and the spray also filters out UV rays. It doesn’t leave your hair feeling crunchy, has a lovely summery mango and tangerine fragrance.  and you can use it on damp or dry hair.

Step 2 Get Bright Summer Nails

Rimmel 2 Step Beach Ready Collection is the latest addition to this 2 step gel colour system. There’s no base coat required. All you need is 1-2 coats of Super Gel colour followed one coat of Super Gel topcoat to get a salon style finish without a UV lamp. It promises to last for up to 14 days and I have to say for me it was pretty long lasting but 5 days was when I started to notice wear.

Step 3: Protect your skin

Institut Esthederm Suncare is perfect for this heatwave we’re having. I’ve been trialling the Sun Care Dry Oil  which combines tanning and protection for use with Normal to Strong Sun. It gives immediate protection against UVA and UVB rays  and stimulates a deeper, safer tan. Love to have a spray function for least messiness and it smells gorgeous.

Also for my easily burned and easily freckled face I’ve been using the Adaptasun Sensitive Skin Face Cream for Strong Sun. This prepares skin to adapt better to the effects of sun, activating the skin’s natural melanin process, to give a deeper tan. It’s ideal for skin types that doesn’t tan easily.

So those are my 3 steps! What steps to you take before heading to the beach? Do share!
