GHOST Dream is a new floral oriental scent. Malaika Firth fronts the campaign to represent the feminine and independent women that will embrace this scent. Ghost have strayed from their usual design style with this bottle that captures the light in a way that is like the play of light on rippling water. Heavy glass is faceted for this bottle design that replicates a healing crystal and is topped with a pale rose cap. Only a subtly placed Ghost logo indicates the brand.
Top notes are rose essential and aquaflora; mid notes are violet, heliotrope, Moroccan orange flower and Egyptian jasmine; base notes are ambroxan, musks, an patchouli.
I’ve found that the scent is light and wearable for this transitional summer/autumn period. The musk notes are very light whilst adding a warmth and depth to the floral top notes. Ghost have aimed this fragrance at the younger end of the market but I think that I’m independent enough to adopt what suits my vibe and not to be swayed by marketing concepts!
Definitely one to try – GHOST Dream is available from Superdrug, Boots and the Perfume Shop.
