I’ve been asking myself whether the love for all things rose gold is about to die out anytime soon – and I’m thinking it’s unlikely. I mean how stunning is this latest offering from Michael Buble? With the award-winning original By Invitation fragrance we had already been treated to something special that looked and smelled like a dream but this new By Invitation Rose Gold version has cranked up the desirability factor yet another notch!
Described as a floral oriental gourmand the notes are:
Top: Radiant magnolia, red fruits and granit pear
Heart: Rose, peony and black plum
Base: Praline, vanilla, spice
I’ve found that it’s warm and feminine and avoids being too sweet by having just an edge of spice to it. With the bottle being rose gold and the scent being a pale blush pink there’s a feminine feel without being to twee. The weighty glass bottle gives a luxurious feel and look too and I’ve loved adding it to my spring summer fragrance collection.
As for it being a celebrity fragrance – that’s never been something that’s been key in my deciding whether I like a scent or not – and this fragrance is fabulous in its own right. And as for my initial thoughts on all things rose gold whether the trend declines or not By Invitation Rose Gold will be a fragrance that will always be welcome in my collection.
What do you think about rose gold? Will we get over it any time soon? Have you ever bought a celebrity fragrance just because you loved the celebrity? What makes you choose a new fragrance? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Received this for Xmas from my sister & mother in law, didn’t even know about it before. I like the smell & the bottle design. It’s quite a big bottle too. I just don’t like the name “By invitation ” I think being called “rose gold ” alone makes more sense Not sure if I’ll repurchase it when I run out
