Weekend Wishlist Issue 5

This has been a busy week for me with lots of blogging, tweeting and of course shopping (oh and Monday to Friday at work!). I’ve been so busy in fact that I’ve not been taking care of myself as much as I should and my skin and hair have been suffering. So my first choice is L’Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert Absolut Thermo Repair Cream (150ml) £14.35. The reason for this choice is that my hair is over processed and overheated and this weather isn’t helping. A work colleague uses the professional products from L’Oreal and she always looks as though she has stepped straight out of a salon. Here’s what L’Oreal say:

Turn on the benefits of this L’Oréal Professionnel série expert Absolut Thermo Repair L'Oréal Professionnel Série Expert Absolut Thermo Repair Cream (150ml)Cream, featuring the latest Amidocell technology, and help protect your hair from heat-styling damage.

Activated by heat, L’Oréal Professionnel série expert Absolut Thermo Repair Cream helps to repair and protect the hair fibre and make blow drying easier. Enriched with ceramides and starch molecules, the heat encourages the formula to lock in actives, for hair that feels silky and looks shiny with increased protection.

As well as this I like to have a spray on shine for when my hair is looking dull. I’ve bought so many that don’t live up to what they say but I’m hopeful for this one. It’s Bumble and Bumble’s Shine On Finishing Spray (50ml) £10.00. There’s such a buzz about this brand and I’ve only heard good things. They say:

“Let your style sparkle with health and vitality with Bumble and bumble Shine On Finishing Spray. This lightweight glossing mist is perfect to add an all day gleam, the perfect finishing touch to your look. Shop now.

The other thing that is really causing me trouble is my hands. They’re so dry and cracked and the supermarket brand hand cream I’ve been using has not been doing the job. That’s why I need a seriously good hand cream.  The one that I’ve chosen has an SPF as well as being soothing and protecting. It’s the Eve Lom Hand Cream SPF10 (50ml). It’s £22.00. I can hear you saying that’s a lot for a hand cream but this is a luxury brand and it’s help to prevent ageing. Eve Lom Hand Cream Spf10 (50ml)They say:

“Keep your hands soft and line-free with this rich yet easily absorbed anti-ageing hand cream. An SPF of 10, Shea Butter and antioxidants help prevent the first signs of environmental damage. The natural exfoliators Salicylic Acid and Kokum Butter smooth and brighten the skin, Bisobolol soothes and heals, while Jojoba Oil and Beeswax seal in essential moisture. Hands are routinely neglected, and everyone, particularly those who work outdoors, should give them daily care with Hand Cream SPF10” Shop now.

Still on my wish list is the perfect summer scent – I haven’t found it yet – perhaps you could give me some suggestions below. I’m wondering about this one – It’s Dolce & Gabbana’s Dolce. It’s recommended by Vogue and available at Harrods £62.00. http://www.harrods.com/

They say: “An intoxicating blend of white flowers, the new Dolce is an intensely feminine fragrance which the designers say was inspired by memories of Sicily and also the complexity of fine craftsmanship – much like the creation of one of their exquisitely embroidered dresses.”

Could this be the one? I’d like to think so and it’s pretty too!

Have a lovely week and don’t forget to leave me your comments. I’ll answer every one!
