Clinique Super Defense SPF 20 Facial Moisturiser – Review

I bought this Clinique Super Defense SPF 20 Facial Moisturiser way back in February when I’d only just started blogging. ( I posted about it here). Then almost immediately I was asked to review a succession of moisturisers and serums for the blog and it’s only just recently that I’ve been able to try out this gorgeous moisturiser from Clinique.

What I love about Clinique is the time the assistants take to check what you need from the product, what your skin concerns are and what type of skin you have. This gives me all I need from a day-cream. They say:

“Our most complete daily protection. All-day hydration for a healthy moisture barrier. There’s antioxidants and UVA/UVB protection. All in a formula that is light and silky. Apply in A.M. to face and neck after your regular 3-Step Skin Care regime. All-day hydration, antioxidants, UVA/UVB protection. Light, silky formula. Apply in AM after 3-Step. Specially formulated for combination to oily skin types.”

The cream is rich and creamy and smooths on like a dream. I feel protected and moisturised without feeling as though my make-up is going to slide off my face. I know that its working for me to minimise the look of fine lines and hopefully keep some at bay a bit longer. I love this brand and of course the packaging is just what you’d expect from Clinique and that’s one more reason that it’s one of my favourite brands. It’s priced at £39.00 for 50ml and you can get it now here.
