Review – DHC Velvet Skin Coat

Velvet Skin Coat

You may have seen a while back that I was given a whole range of DHC products and I’ve been impressed  by every single one. (Just enter DHC in the search box to find out more). Well somehow this one was left at the bottom of my stash of “must try soon” products. I had forgotten all about it until I ran out of primer and decided to have a rummage.

Well, how silly was I to miss out for so long on using this superb product! It’s called Velvet Skin Coat and guess what – it actually feels like velvet! and no I’m not exaggerating. The closest primer that I can compare this to is Benefit Porefessional and to be fair I love the Benefit product but this DHC product blows it out of the water! It glides on and mattifies like a dream but then it feels so soft and smooth – even now when I’ve been wearing it for more than 12 hours. It’s the perfect primer and I can’t fault it.

They say:

DHC Velvet Skin Coat make-up primer instantly softens and improves the look of your skin. It minimises the look of fine lines, pores and imperfections while reducing oiliness to help make-up glide on and last longer – with no “drying” time needed. Plus, it leaves skin feeling silky smooth. Look fresh and flawless, whether you’re wearing make-up or not.”

It costs £17.00 here. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Have you tried any DHC products? They’re such a great brand aren’t they? Do comment below and tell me what you think.
