It’s been a bit of a week really – one where I’ve had to battle with a non-functioning phone, inept couriers and torrential rain. Thank goodness that this new addition to my skincare routine has been dependable and delightful in equal measure!
I first came across Trilogy as a brand about a year ago at my first Pegasus Beauty Showcase but it was at this year’s Pegasus Healthy Beauty Forum that I was introduced to one of their newest products Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm.
I have to admit it took me a while to get into cleansing balms but over time I’ve worked out how to fit them into my skincare routine. They’re great for dissolving make-up easily and this one works like a dream. At the end of the day, I rub my fingertips across the surface of the balm in circular motions and this melts the balm slightly. I then apply it to my face, (no water at this point) and massage it in gently so that it dissolves the makeup. The mango butter and coconut, sunflower, and rosehip oils work their magic and smell good too. The next step is to dampen the cloth (you get an unbleached organic cotton cloth in the box) and gently wipe the balm away. You’re left with clean, soft, and smooth skin. If you’re like me then you might want to double cleanse with a gel cleanser perhaps something like the Trilogy Balancing Gel Cleanser would fit the bill. It’s not a must-have it just depends on your skin and what you’re used to.
The 8oml jar of Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm costs £19.50 and the Trilogy Balancing Gel Cleanser costs £22.50 for 150ml.
Oh, and while I’m talking Trilogy – I’m back using my Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil AntiOxidant+ which I reviewed here. So you’ll see I’m a bit of a Trilogy fan!

Which ones have you tried?

Quite a few ones actually. One of the cleansers, the rosehip oil, eye cream, the ‘everything’ balm, a moisturiser. Probably even more, haha.

Sounds like you’re the authority on Trilogy – not me!
