I’ve almost lost count of the new brands that I’ve tried over the last two years that I’ve been blogging. Prai is a name that I’d heard before but that was about all I knew until I picked up this little beauty from a recent QVC event. It’s the Prai Radiant Gemstone Caviar Triple Matrixyl Serum.*
I’ve found out that Prai, exclusive to QVC in the UK is a global skincare company that offers high performance products, formulated with luxury, prestige ingredients. They say that historically prai extract was reserved for the Thai royal family and now its reserved for the PRAI family, offering skin smoothing and restorative benefits.
PRAI Beauty was founded in 1999 by beauty expert and entrepreneur Cathy Kangas. Since the beginning PRAI has made a commitment through Beauty with a Cause to donate a portion of all sales to multiple animal advocacy groups. You can see more here
So now to tell you about the Prai Radiant Gemstone Caviar Triple Matrixyl Serum itself. Its powerful peptide complex targets and smoothes wrinkles. It’s enriched with gemstones to delivers luminosity and radiance. It’s said to even out skin tone, promote softness and create a flawless finish.
I’ve been using the serum as the first layer in my skin care routine. It feels and looks really luxurious. It really glistens on the skin, I’m guessing that’s the gemstones. I use a moisturiser on top and then a BB cream or foundation, usually a mattifying one so that counteracts the “sparkle” which was a little bit too shiny for me without other products on top during the day. Of course it’s fine for night time and I always wake up with a real velvety softness to my skin when I use it. Love that it’s in a pump dispenser, I do get a bit annoyed with the fashion for the pippette/dropper delivery system that seems to be so popular lately for serums, foundations whatever. Anyway this one does the business and looks good too with it’s pink and silver packaging.
It’s available here in slightly different packaging for £33 plus P&P here.
Love finding discoveries like this especially when they’re reasonably priced. Have you tried any Prai products? Let me know if you have and what you think.
