If you’ve already seen or heard about Lola Make Up then it’s most likely that it’s been in at Marks & Spencer. But now they’ve opened their own boutique store in London’s Judd Street (Kings Cross) where you can experience the brand in it’s home setting. And a very pretty setting it is too!
As well as being able to buy the whole range of products from British designed, cruelty free, professional make-up brand but you will also be able to attend events there. They already have masterclasses planned for 2017 with celebrity makeup artist and beauty expert Nina Westbury.
The Lola range has strongly pigmented colour, high quality textures and professional artistry tools at affordable prices. These gorgeous lip glosses are colour rich, longlasting and have moisturising properties too without being sticky.
There’s a wide range of highly pigmented shadows and for even longer wear there’s a Lola eye base that forms a smooth veil on the lid to apply shadow and liner too. And of course loads more products that I just didn’t get a chance to photograph as there were so many press, make up artists, bloggers etc jostling for a look!
In store I played around with the colours, which were stunning but also brought home a few pieces to try out over time. Below is the Lola eye pencil in Hot Pink – it wouldn’t have been my first colour choice but hey its part time so I’ll experiment! It comes with a handy smudger at one end too. Also a cute powder puff.
Next to try is this tinted lip balm. This is in shade 001 so is actually not tinted …..erm well I can still test the formula if not the colour!
Then I think this is the thing I’m most excited to try out over Christmas – it’s the Lola nail colour in Egyptian Goddess. For me this Christmas is all about red and gold so I’ll be teaming it with red lips and maybe a gold shadow for a glam party look!
There’s a stunning range of nail colours, I think I can spy my shade in the bottom row second from right!
If you get the chance to visit the store you’ll see that they’re also showcasing three other brands. Cinere natural skincare, Figurite anti cellulite targeting system and Reseed holistic hair loss treatment. Again I’ll be trialling a couple of products and will update you on them in a later post.
From Cinere I’ve got the cleansing milk and samples of moisturising cream and firming lift cream.
From Reseed, I’ve got Fortifying shampoo and Ultra Volume conditioner. I don’t suffer from hair loss or need to volumise my hair but I know people who do – so either I or a friend will be able to feed back on these. So keep a look out for news on those.
Have you tried any Lola products? Which of these are you most interested in hearing more about? If you want to get involved with a master class here’s what you need to register at email@example.com Do let me know how you get on!
