Seems to me that there hasn’t been a DHC product that I haven’t liked. I’ve come across a couple more recently and so I thought it would be rude not tell you about them in case you miss out.
So it seems that this isn’t a new product and in fact I had my hands on it more than a year ago only like a fool I gave it away as part of a prize for Strand On Beauty’s second birthday. I was recently reminded about it when I read that it’s Emma Watson’s current favourite and thought that I should see what I’ve been missing.
The long-lasting Perfect Pro Double Protection Mascara from DHC is designed to lengthen and protect your lashes. It will stay on your lashes with no flaking or smudging. It’s a creamy formula that uses tubing technology which encases lashes in easy-to-remove polymer tubes. Removal is simple with warm water helping to smooth it away and no make-up remover is necessary.
For me the star of the show is the extremely thin brush that enables you to get right to the root of your lashes. I think that with mascara it’s the right balance between formula and brush design that makes it succeed or fail. For me this one is a winner! RRP is £15.90 but there’s 20% off at Escentual here at the time of writing.
This DHC Body Butter is right at the core of everything they do as olive oil is the foundation ingredient of their entire product range.
I love how fresh and spring like the packaging is and it would have been a definite for my Mother’s Day Wishlist if I’d actually written one. Read more about that here. It’s really rich and hydrating without being greasy and it smells delicious – green apple and rose are so uplifting. I’ve found it really calming recently after I was foolish enough to dry shave my legs the other evening and I gave myself razor burn
Ingredients include botanical ingredients such as cocoa and shea butter, olive, coconut and avocado oil as well as emollient oils – lovely! It’s priced at £17 for 100g tub here.
