This unassuming pot of cream is actually quite wonderful! It’s the Revival Bio Active Beauty Mask from Dafna and it combines bio-active ingredients including encapsulated charcoal, hyaluronic acid, ginseng and reishi for a transformative effect that brings back vitality to your skin.
The mask is different from any I’ve used before because its application takes you through two stages – both from just one mask. First, apply to the skin straight from the pot and leave it on for 5-7 minutes. This stage is all about hydration and the hyaluronic acid combines with ginseng and reishi to energise your skin. Then for the second stage, you add some water and massage the mask into your skin gently and leave for a couple of minutes. This activates the charcoal (you can see the mask has little black flecks) and magnetises the free radicals at the surface of the skin to inhibit oxidation and promote balanced even looking skin.
Even after just one use of the mask, my skin felt really smooth to the touch and so so clean! This really is one of the best masks I’ve used. Now the luxury organic ingredients combined with pioneering technology doesn’t come cheap with the 50ml size coming in at £78 here. But still, this is an award-winning brand – it won Best International Skincare Brand 2018 and I think it’s a great way to go about taking care of your skin.
