[AD – Gifted] Fresh makeup for summer from B.

I think it’s fair to say that ever since we saw Meghan Markle’s barely there fresh and natural look on her wedding day we’ve been wondering if we can achieve the same look.  During the summer I think we all apply our makeup in a lighter way but we don’t want to look like we haven’t bothered at all. If you’re keen to try a fresh look for these glorious summer days and you don’t want to invest serious money ( I mean who knows how long the sunshine will last!?) then B. Cosmetics from Superdrug have got some lovely bits that will freshen and brighten your look. So whether you’re planning a softer look for a summer wedding or a bronzed glow for the beach I think that you might find what you’re looking for with B. Here are a few of the products that I’ve been trying that might fit the bill.

I think that this is the prettiest blush I’ve seen in a while. It’s a gorgeous angelic shade of pink and the moulded B. shape makes it look a lot classier than its £7.99 price tag. It’s the B. Blusher in Tempt Me.  It comes in eight shades and the formula is soft so that you can build coverage to suit. I’ve been a fan of liquid and cream blushers for a while now having moved away from powder as it can be a little heavy but I’ve been able to achieve the sheer almost water-colour finish that I prefer with this cutie.

I think that we all need that single product that you can swoosh across your face that makes you come alive. This B. Radiance Powder is a highlighting powder that comes in two shades that give you glow without shine priced £8.99.  It’s lightweight and silky so it’s buildable there’s a peachy shade for a natural look and this Bronzed shade which gives a deeper more golden finish.  It’s one of the multi-taskers that you can pop in your bag to use as bronze, highlight and eyeshadow for that beach to bar look on holiday.

Not sure how you’re all feeling about the move away from matt lips? I’ve been using my matt lip colours with lip balm underneath to make them a little silkier and less aging so I’ve really loved the texture of this B. Luminous Silk Lipstick in Oohlala. It’s got a rich formula that’s soft and easy to apply with a great pigment delivery all for £6.99.

If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know how much I hate having to search for lip liners that are twist up as I hate the effort and waste of pencils that you need to sharpen. There may be brands out there with a hundred shades but I’m not going to be buying them unless they twist up! So this B. Lip Liner in Rosy is a great find and it’s just £4.99. Only 8 shades though for now so here’s hoping for a few more very soon!

And then there’s this little pot of shimmery pigment. It’s the B. Glitter Pigment in Steel. It’s so pretty and a steal at £4.99. Perfect for eyes or as a highlighter for sparkf#ly fun at festivals or beach parties. So smooth to apply and you can pat it on to build serious depth or slick it on for a light sheen. It’s just £4.99.
