I’ve been catching up on things and so I’ve merged the empties for January and February into one for you this time around.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir £32 (100ml)
This time I used up my mini-size Beauty Elixir that came in a Christmas bauble-style pack. I’ve featured it before here if you’d like to read the full details. It’s a gem!
Caudalie Vinopure Clear Skin Purifying Toner £18 (200ml)
Another mini-size used up. Caudalie products hardly ever get stashed away I love indulging myself daily. This toner is a favourite and I’ve reviewed it here in a previous empties post.
Clinique Take The Day Off £23.00 (125ml)
Clinique was one of my go-to brands before I became a blogger, so when I ran out of cleansing balm I knew just the product I wanted to try. Take the Day Off is such an easy product to use and it lasts so long! It suits all skin types and is Clinique’s best-selling make-up remover. It melts on the skin into a gorgeous oil that removes every trace of makeup. If you’d like to give it a go it’s available here for a couple of pounds cheaper than other retailers.
Emma Hardie Midas Touch Face Serum £69.00 ( 2 x 15ml)
I often feel that I miss out on bathing products as I don’t have a bath in my apartment and shower gels just don’t usually give the full fragrance and sensory experience. But with this Green People Quinoa and Calendula Shower Gel that I discovered in an awards ceremony goodie bag (thanks Vuelio!) I’ve really been enjoying the experience of the uplifting citrus fragrance that comes from sweet orange and ginger essential oils. The organic body cleanser also contains quinoa, which is a gluten-free protein, that locks in vital moisture as well as calendula to soothe and calm. There’s also yucca in there to remove dead skin and impurities, decongest and promote skin renewal. I loved it and only wish I’d had a bigger tube. You can do just that with a 200ml size here.
Revolution – The Mascara Revolution £8.00
You all know that I love Revolution Makeup, but I also know that you like to hear what I really think about products and not just what the brands and PRs like me to tell you. So here’s the thing with this mascara. I love how it goes on – it’s a really intense black and it makes my eyelashes look thick and long – but – it just doesn’t last. It flakes off in little specks around my eyes during the day and leaves me with a messy face and hardly any mascara on my lashes. I did persevere with it for quite a while but in the end, I just had to admit defeat. So it’s an almost empty I guess.
So that’s me finally done with January and February empties. I’ve already started compiling some interesting items from March though so I hope that you’ll join me to read about those.
