It’s my first post of the year! I hope the new year and decade are treating you well so far. I have so much to write about and so little time these days but thought you’d like to be kept up to date with what I’ve been using up over the last month or two. Let me know if you spot any of your favourite products and brands among them.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo 92ml £10
This Living Proof Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Dry Shampoo came to me as part of a Marks & Spencer summer beauty box – always a great way to discover products and great value too. It’s a bit more expensive than your standard high street dry shampoo offering but it works so well. It’s not chalky and its silicone free weightless formula absorbs oil, sweat and odour. It also has a time-release fragrance that’s designed to last.

ARK Age Defy Nourishing Moisturiser+ 50ml £35
This ARK Age Defy Nourishing Moisturiser suited my skin well. I’ve reviewed it in detail here along with some other super ARK products. I recommend you explore the brand and find the products and combination that works for you.
ARK Skin Perfector De-Stress Serum £33.75
All the details for this antioxidant-rich ARK Skin Perfector De-Stress Serum are here in my previous post. I’ve loved using it – it’s light and I trust that it’s protecting my skin and healing it too. Suits all ages and it’s vegan friendly.
Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser £16.00
I have to say I really struggle with a cleansing routine that doesn’t include a gel/foaming cleanser. So when I got my hands on this one from one of my favourite skin care brands I couldn’t wait to try it. The Caudalie Purifying Cleansing Gel is enriched with natural salicylic acid, grapeseed polyphenols and organic essential oils. It does a great job of cleansing without leaving skin feeling dry. It works gently to tighten pores and reduce excess sebum and blemishes. Lovely.
Emma Hardie Exfoliating Brightening Tonic £28.00
This is a gentle exfoliating tonic which helps to remove dead skin cells to leave a smooth even skin texture and increases elasticity at the same time. Loved using this after a double cleanse for clearer more toned skin. Ingredients include:
- Pomegranate enzymes to release trapped bacteria and to enhance cellular renewal through exfoliation
- Sytenol to help to stimulate collagen production
- Tego Cosmo C250 to brighten and improve skin clarity and tone
- Aloe Vera to hydrate and soothe
Emma Hardie Moisture Boost Vitamin C Cream £49.00
I love to have a vitamin C product in my skincare routine and this Emma Hardie Moisture Boost Vitamin C Cream fit the bill perfectly. I tried it as a 20ml version as part of the same M&S Beauty Box I mentioned above. It’s a vitamin-enriched day cream designed to restore skin’s luminosity. Ingredients include:
- Vitamin B3
- Vitamin
- Red Algae extract to brighten and refine
- Pumpkin Enzymes, Shea Butter and Grapeseed Oil to eliminate dead skin cells and renew radiance
Make Up
It’s not often that I finish a make-up item but this Lola Volume Mascara suited me really well with everything I need for maximum length, volume and curl with a really intense black colour.
That’s all from me this time around. Hope to catch up with you soon!

Happy New Year! You’ve included some great products here. I liked the dispenser on the ARK moisturiser – it gave me a more controlled portion of the product so to speak. The Emma Hardy tonic sounds brilliant, going to have a further look at that one x

They’ve changed packaging now but it’s a handy pump dispenser. Emma Hardie is always good.
