The love affair continues….

If you read my post the other day (Dear Estee Lauder I’ve Been Cheating On You With Clinique!) you’ll know that I was tempted away from my favourite brand to buy a whole host of Clinique products. Well now I can tell you that I’ve decided that it’s more than a fling -it’s turned into a love affair! I just love, love love the Clinique superprimer – universal face primer!

They say- “Lightweight, oil-free primer creates an ideal makeup canvas. Colour corrects a range of concerns, preps for makeup application and wear. Colour glides on evenly, stays true.”

I got a free sample with the purchase of foundation. The primer comes in 6 different versions to colour correct and smooth but mine was colourless and a universal version for all skin types. I was cynical as I’ve tried primers before and they’re ok but end up making your skin feel a bit grubby. Clinique’s version has completely changed my mind and I can’t imagine putting on my make-up without this as a base. It feels amazing on the skin and I can’t stop touching my face – it feel’s velvet smooth and soft. It makes my make up look professional and I’m definitely going to buy the full size. It costs £20 for the 30ml size but if you are quick you can get the 15ml size free with foundation. I bought mine in Debenhams but you will find it in most major Department stores. Be careful though – you might just find it addictive!
