I only discovered this amazing brand a few months back and some of you will have already heard a little about them from me before. I wrote about when they won a Debenhams Beauty Award here and I reviewed their BB cream here.
Tonight I was invited to find out a little more at the Balance Me Blogger Event in Debenhams, Oxford Street beauty hall.

On arrival we were provided with the blogger’s life blood – a glass of fizz! After a catch up with some of my blogger friends I was invited to have a facial scan that could identify what my skin needs. It was a great experience and I was really pleased to find that aside from a little dehydration under my eyes (must drink more water) and the need for a bit of exfoliation around my nose my skin is in pretty good condition.
The lovely Balance Me people gave me some sample products specifically for my skin type/issues. These were:
- Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm – Full size £20 here. Perfect for: Enhancing the natural radiance of normal to dry skins and balancing normal to oily skins.
- Wonder Eye Cream – Full size £20 here. Perfect for: Perking up the eye area whilst helping to keep visible signs of ageing at bay.
- Rose Otto Face Oil – Full size £32.00 here. Perfect for: Protecting, replenishing and deeply hydrating sensitive skin or skin prone to redness.
- Radiant Face Oil – Full size £30 here. This award winner is perfect for – Offering skin an extra layer of moisturising protection and enhancing dull, lifeless, dehydrated skin with a radiant, dewy glow.

Then I was introduced to the two more of Balance Me’s amazing products. The Super Toning Body Oil and the Super Toning Body Wash.
The Super Toning Body Oil – This was the first Balance Me oil first created nearly 20 years ago and now a cult product. The oil is fused with bergamot, geranium, lavender and juniper as well as jojoba, macadamia, sweet almond and wheat germ oils.
It promises to help restore tone to my wobbly bits – I think that’s being a bit optimistic – I don’t think they understand the size of the task in my case – but you know I’ll be reviewing this and reporting back to you soon.
It costs £20 here
The Super Toning Body Wash – Balance Me have reformulated their sulphate free washes. (There are two more in the range – rose otto and super moisturising). They’ve also redesigned the packaging and better still changed the price point to an affordable £9. The Super Toning Body Wash contains juniper, geranium, lavender, and bergamot.
You can find it here.

After a lovely chat with Alex and her colleagues from Balance Me and of course a bit of a chat with my fellow bloggers it was time to head home clutching a very generous goodie bag. Thank you Balance Me!
As well as reviewing some of the products here soon you’ll also hear more from me about a Balance Me competition which they are running through July and August so look out for more news soon!.
