Pegasus Beauty Showcase

I was very lucky to be invited to the annual Pegasus Beauty Showcase for the first time this week. They chose the very glamorous Westbury Hotel in Mayfair to stage the showcase and I was super excited to see what they had in store for me there. It’s safe to say that I wasn’t disappointed. When I arrived at the Gallery I was offered a glass of Prosecco – always nice at the end of a long working day. The room was buzzing with press and brands.

There were so many amazing brands there. Some were household names and some that I knew nothing about. They included :

Trilogy, Witch Skin Care, Dr. Organic, Temple Spa, The Harley Medical Group, Jivesse, Rapid White, Bio-Oil, Avene, A-Derma, Lloyds Pharmacy, Holland & Barrett, Viviscal, Colladeen Visage, Chapstick, Soft & Gentle, Cuticura, Collection, Homedics, Rokit, Elle Macpherson, Micropedi and Australian Bodycare.

The first thing that caught my eye was the Christmas tree piled with Christmas Gifts sets from a variety of brands. It seemed a bit odd with it being around 25 degrees in the blazing July sunshine outside but brands need to plan well ahead.

While I was looking at the tree I got talking to two lovely ladies from Australian Bodycare who have just launched their new Cleansing Face Mask and Any Time Balm. What came over about the brand was that it’s for all the family and one product can have many uses. I loved the fact that it was such an all-round feel-good range of products.

I moved on to talk to the representative from Collection. This was the brand that I wanted to find out more about having recently tried some of their nail polishes ( I wrote a review here) and a brow kit. There I heard about three exciting new launches. These were the NEW Big Fake Curves Mascara, Heroes Lasting Colour Gel Nail Polishes (I had my nails painted with the shade Daredevil see pic below), and the Little Mix All About The Eyes palette and Lip Balms.

I then went across to the Trilogy stand. A brand I was aware of but knew very little about. As well as learning about their Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ and the Trilogy Age Proof Hydra-Tone Softening Lotion I learned the difference between the terms Natural, Certified Natural, and Organic. Trilogy products are certified natural and this is a reassuring aspect of their brand.

I was then attracted to the Harley Medical Group’s Skin Care Range – not because I’m interested in surgery (although I surely need it!) but because I saw that they had some products that might address some of my skin issues.

My last stop of the evening was to the Jivesse stand where I heard about their collagen products and had a shot of their  Marine & Collagen Herb Elixir.

When the time came to say goodbye I found that the event had been so busy that they’d run out of press packs. I’ve been promised that all the info and samples will be on their way in the post – so when it does I’ll be able to add more info here and review some of the products.

Such an informative evening. Thanks to Pegasus PR and all the lovely people I met there!
