It’s not often that I get something in the post that’s quite as cheeky as what I received yesterday! Enclosed with the new fragrance from Agent Provocateur was a black lace eye mask which definitely gave the package a hint of 50 Shades!
Well, before I get carried away let me tell you about the fragrance which is what I’m here to do after all.
Agent Provocateur Fatale Intense Eau de Parfum is said to be all about playing with danger – a new facet of seduction, temptation, mystery, and lust! Oops, there I go again!
The fragrance is rich and exotic with top notes of Black Licorice Accord, Wild Dewberry, and Spiced Red Chilli Pepper. Mid notes are Lotus Blossom, Champaca Flower, and Rouge Baiser Rose. Dry notes are Amber, Noir Leather Accord, and Tahitian Vanilla.
I found it warm and rich but not overpowering. The scent lasted on my skin for a good few hours. I wore it to work… I didn’t tell colleagues that I was supposed to smell like temptation, mystery, and lust. I thought it would be a bit bold to announce that on a Thursday morning!
The bottle is a deep cherry red with faceted angles. It looks like something that you might imagine backstage at the Moulin Rouge. I was a little disappointed that the bottle wasn’t as weighty as I’d imagined but that’s just me being picky and the price point isn’t excessive.
It’s set to be launched at selected Department stores on 29 June 2015 but I’ve found it listed here already. So if you’re feeling “invincible, brilliant, fierce, and sexy” then you’ll know where to look!
