I’d heard of the brand Little Ondine a few times but the first time I managed to get a close up look was at the QVC press day a little while back. I’d heard that it was a natural product and that it peeled off but that was all.
I asked some more questions and did a bit of research and found that it’s a nail polish that’s composed of natural resin, organic colourants and water. You can peel it off in one go and you don’t need any nail polish remover. That means that you’re not putting harsh chemicals on your nails and drying them out. It’s odour free and it dries quickly. It comes in a great range of colours that make for a smooth shiny finish for just £8.40 each.
I tried it in the shade Fusion. It’s a lovely bright Christmassy red and looked really classy on. I’ve not shown a photo here as my nails are a bit of a mess lately and I’m working on getting them back into shape.
The range comes with a top and base coat called Little Secret that gives a longer lasting effect and brightens the colours. You really need this as you can’t use other base and top coats with this polish. I tried out the polish with just two coats of polish without base and top coat it looked great but it was only a matter of hours before the first chips appeared. I think I’ll be investing in a bottle of little secret soon as I think it will be worth it. It costs £7.80 and being able to just peel off the polish with no mess is just great. Think I might be tempted to buy another colour too.
I’ve spotted a cute Winter Wonderland Set on QVC here too! Are you tempted?
What do you think of this concept? Have you tried Little Ondine before? I’d love to hear how you got on.

It’s a great formula though their base makes all the difference I find. My mani lasted nearly a week with the base but used on its own about 3 hours!

Will definitely have to try the base then. Thanks for the advice!
