Murad is a brand name that I’d heard once or twice, but I didn’t get my hands on any of it until I came across it at QVC.
I learned that Murad was founded by Dr Howard Murad, a world-renowned dermatologist whose award-winning formulas have helped millions to resolve their skin issues.
I brought home the Murad Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture from the press day, and it’s been sitting around the place looking promising for some time, until a little while ago I thought I’d give it a try.
They say:
“Intensely rich and deeply hydrating, Murad Hydro Dynamic Ultimate Moisture offers long-term relief from dryness. Skin is left nourished, refreshed, and perfectly polished all day long. Gentle enough for sensitive complexions.
Murad Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture is the most hydrating moisturiser Murad has ever created. The non-greasy, easily absorbed formula contains avocado, sunflower, and olive fruit, which work to enhance skin’s moisture levels, and a collagen support complex to boost skin’s resilience and plump dehydrated skin.
I would describe the cream as comforting. In texture, for those who are old enough to remember it, it feels like Pond’s Cold Cream. That isn’t to say that its effects or results are the same; it was just the rich consistency that took me back. I’d say that unless you have very dry skin, you might find this a little rich for daytime but perfect for night. It’s not at all greasy, but it feeds the skin and plumps it beautifully.
The Murad Hydro Dynamic Moisturiser is available here on offer at just £30 for a generous 50ml size.
Is Murad on your radar at all? Are then any other Murad products that you think I should try?
