The Story
The Omorovicza story begins over 2,000 years ago, when the healing properties of Hungary’s thermal waters were first discovered. In the 1800s the Omorovicza Family built the beautiful Racz spa in the Hungarian capital of Budapest, on the site of a medieval healing spring. Two hundred years later descendant Stephen took his future wife Margaret to the baths in Budapest. Amazed at the transformation of their skin, they enlisted the help of a Nobel prize-winning laboratory to harness these healing waters into a pioneering new skincare range. So that’s how it began and if you want to read more of this enchanting piece of history then you can find it here.
The Products
The Omorovicza range is huge and many of the products are award winners! When I was invited to trial a couple of products I truly didn’t know where to begin and so I asked if they would kindly recommend something for me.
The first recommendation was the Omorovicza Gold Flash Firming Serum which is a silky anti-ageing serum that shimmers with gold. It has instant soothing and firming properties. It’s oil free and is instantly absorbed. The fabulous ingredients it includes are there to help repair and re-texture for a radiant healthy looking skin. These include gold to heal and strengthen; Vitamin C to enhance tone, reduce age spots and boost collagen; watercress extract and zinc to brighten and even skin tone; polypeptides for renewed elasticity and vitality; sodium hyaluronate for lasting hydration; and minerals for firmer skin.
The other recommendation was the Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser. This is a stunning moisturiser for dry or normal skin that needs sustained hydration that lasts all day. It contains ruby crystal to blur the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Ingredients also include apple pectin and plum almond oil to restore suppleness.
The Experience
When I started to use the Omorovicza Gold Flash Firming Serum and the Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser together two weeks ago my skin was going through a really horrible phase. I’ve been a bit run down generally and had a horrible breakout of spots on my chin – which is something I haven’t had in such a long time and it was really getting me down. I thought that using these luxury products (and they are most definitely a luxury – if you’re on a tight budget then look away now!) would lift my spirits and hopefully improve my skin too. Right away they felt comforting. The serum melted into my skin without a trace. Applying the moisturiser directly afterwards I found that it sat on top of my skin for a while and needed a little massaging in before it was absorbed for a really comforting feel. After applying both products night and day for two weeks I’m really happy with the improvement I’ve seen in the look and feel of my skin. The spots are gone and my skin looks fresh and plumped. So I’d say well done Omorovicza for recommending these great products!. The only downside is now that I’ve entered the world of Omorovicza I think I might need to try more and I’m not sure my bank manager will thank me for that!
If you’re ready to splurge you can find Omorovicza products here at Look Fantastic and direct from Omorovicza here.
Have you tried any Omorocvicza products? I’d love to read your reviews to help me decide what to try next.

These two products sound FAB! I’m loving the cleansing balm and facial mist, aren’t we lucky to get to try such beautiful things? X

Yes we are ☺ I saw you’re trialling a couple of products. I’m so pleased that we can try different products as it gets boring when all the bloggers review the same things doesn’t it.

Very true. I had a blogger have a real go at one of the products I’m trialling, last night on twitter. Kim was so upset, Mark DM’d her she’s ok but she blocked the girl!

Sounds unprofessional to me. I don’t understand what drives people to behave like that. If you don’t like a product then it’s fine to say that without as long as you are constructive.

I’ve taken an interest in this brand after trying and loving their Rose Lifting Serum. I had a little play with their moisturisers in SpaceNK the other day but as beautiful as they are I just can’t justify the price tags at the moment. Although, that 20% off is tempting….

I love the idea of this brand but I haven’t gotten around to buying any due to the price. Maybe I could make an exception as there IS a discount code…

They stock it in Space NK so you might be able to see the products up close before you invest? I love the presentation with sturdy glass bottles and gold detail too!

Not used anything from their range yet, but these sound fab. It’s great when your skin is reacting to life and then, by using a couple of different products, everything gets back to harmony.
