There really is no stopping this brand! Makeup Revolution just powers ahead like Lewis Hamilton with his foot to the floor in an F1 race!
Makeup Revolution was born 2 years ago and has an astonishing number of products released at the rate of 500 a year! What madness is this? It’s the amazing business model conceived by Adam Minto the founder of the Makeup Revolution brand.
He’s an unstoppable force – passionate about his mission to create makeup products that are accessible and not elitist. He is at once driven, passionate and humble, making a heartwarming speech that paid tribute to friends, family and colleagues as he fought hard to contain his emotion as he thanked his wife for her support when times were tough. But this man isn’t just an amazing business man he knows how to throw a party too!
To celebrate his success he invited his global partners and us beauty bloggers to a sparking event at London’s Cafe de Paris! There was the chance to view and test a whole range of Makeup Revolution, Freedom, and I♥Makeup products while we were spoiled with cocktails, and canapes and got to meet all our fellow bloggers who’d glammed up and traveled from across the country to be part of the revolution.
When Adam promised us some announcements and launches he didn’t disappoint with news of two imminent product launches.
- The Fortune Favours the Brave palette developed with British Beauty Blogger Jane Cunningham
- The Chocolate Vice palette, the eagerly awaited palette from the I ♥ Chocolate Range
This was rapidly followed by news of the Makeup Revolution app! It’s available via the App Store and Google Play – if you’re a Makeup Revolution fan then you need this as you’ll get inside news of launches and more. (It’s worth was proven this week when the Fortune Favours the Brave Palette launched early and stock became limited really quickly!)
And then more excitement with news from Beauty Vlogger Beauty’s Big Sister – Daisie Smith. She told us about the #IAMFREEDOM competition. Due to launch next month they’re looking for 30 entrants for 3 challenges to win a place in a live final in September with celebrity judges. Prizes for 4 runners will be £1000 each with the winner winning an amazing £10,000, a year’s supply of Freedom products and a one year partnership deal with the brand. As we all applauded, the announcement was interrupted by a further announcement from the execs at Superdrug who pledged to double the prize money!
So after all that we’d got the taste for fun and excitement and Scott Mills took to the decks to make sure we had the best music in town!
Thanks to Adam, everyone at Makeup Revolution and Superdrug for a wonderful evening and for the generous goodie bag. I’ll be telling you more about the contents in future reviews but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect!
The Freedom Pro Artist Pad Dark Arts
Freedom Pro Studio Strobe Cream
Makeup Revolution Anti Bacterial Brush Cleanser, Ultra Metals Flawless Powder Brush, Rose Gold Lipstick in Private Members Club
Were you there that night? What was your favourite part of the evening? I’d love to hear about it in the comments.

Great post, the best I’ve read about the event Hazel! I had my invite too, but couldn’t go because we had a ton of family birthdays. When Jackie emailed me she told me that if I couldn’t attend she would arrange a goody bag to be sent to me, not heard anything since sadly. It looked an amazing night, so glad you had a great time X
