Discovering Om Skincare

OMEvent

If you’re a lover of skincare you might have heard of Om Skincare. You might even have heard of Dr.Om the skincare expert and scientist behind the brand but I bet you didn’t know that Dr. Om is a woman. Not only is she incredibly successful in her field, combining her scientific heritage with her love of ancient wisdom and the transforming properties of nature but she has skin so flawless that it distracted me as we spoke! I was mesmerised. She tells me that it’s the OM Invisible Finish Primer that gives her skin such a radiant and luminous glow.

OM Event

Dr. Om Prawarisa took the time to speak to all her guests about her capsule product range. (That’s her in the middle chatting with Denise from WOW Beauty.) She explained how all the products can be used separately or in combination to suit your skin type or the climate. She hails from Thailand but travels frequently to New York and the UK and she spoke about how the impetus behind the product development was to find products that could handle humid or dry climates that fit with her way of life. So this range is multi-functioning with complex formulas that adapt to all skin types and perform in all climates

The products contain ingredients from around the world harvested from land and sea to capture healing properties and preserve the Chi energy. The collection includes:

Invisible Finish Primer has SPF40 and UVA and UVB protection that brightens and moisturises for a luminous complexion.

Miracle Serum is for an instant boost for radiant and glowing skin.

Beauty Booster Elixirs for beauty on the go provide instant hydration, help with collagen production, and are powerful antioxidants. The Serenity version helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and promotes smooth skin texture whilst the Revitalising version provides vitamins, protects against UV damage, and helps to reduce pigmentation. You can buy them separately or together in a double-ended spray which is the perfect travel companion.

There’s also the Cleanse & Glow Konjac Sponge which is 100% natural and made from vegetable fibre. It’s pictured at the top too. It has a small hollow on the surface so that after dampening the sponge to soften it you can put a little cleanser (any brand) into the hollow and then apply it to your face. It’s very gentle and suitable for sensitive skin.

The whole evening was so calming and a lovely introduction to the brand. It really didn’t feel as though I was in a central London hotel – the gorgeous Charlotte Street Hotel.
