Empties October 2016

Here’s October’s list of goodies that I’ve used up – some new and some repurchases starting with:

Collection Moisturising Lip Butter in Vintage Rose

This is a perfect daytime pinky nude that’s just perfect. I think that this is the second one I’ve used up all the way although I don’t seem to have reviewed it before. Described as a wind-up chubby lip pencil – it’s maybe not that chubby but it’s just right for me and perfectly priced at just £2.99 here.

Ekia Organic Creme Intense

Ekia

This firming and brightening organic skincare is perfect for my skin and I’ve used it right to the end (yep that’s why it’s in the empties post I know!) I’ve reviewed it in detail here.

Weleda Skin Food

If I’d known what a super product this was I would have tried it sooner! I’ve just used up a trial size of this Skin Food with all its flower power! You can read more about the product and brand here – it really is an all-rounder. The 75ml size is £14.95 here

Beauty Pro Brightening Collagen Mask

I’ve been a fan of Vitamin C skincare products for a while now so I was really looking forward to trying this Brightening Collagen Mask from Beauty Pro. It’s a sheet mask with an anti-ageing formula to combat fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage and dull skin while improving skin clarity, rebalancing uneven skin tone and diminishing pigmentation.

Instructions are to place on the face for 15-20 minutes and then apply any excess serum to the neck and decolletage. The results were great and my skin was nicely plumped and when I checked it out in the morning it did seem brighter too. My only criticism was that they were too generous with the serum and it trickled down my neck which was a little uncomfortable.

I’ve another to try from the range – the Rejuvenating Collagen Mask (on the right in the picture) so expect to see that feature in an empties post soon too.

Sleek Eyebrow Stylist

I’ve lost count of how many of these Sleek Eyebrow Stylists I’ve bought and used up. It’s a pretty good dupe for the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil – although to be fair I think the Sleek version was around first. It’s reasonably priced at £6.49 here so I don’t have to hesitate about repurchasing.

So that’s October wrapped up! What have you used up this month? Do share!
