Empties – October 2017

Just four products used up this month but they’re all little gems!

SkinCeuticals Retexturising Activator

The Retexturing Activator exfoliates and hydrates. It diminishes the appearance of surface lines and smooths skin; increases the look of overall radiance; boosts moisture levels and is ideal for all skin types. Ingredients include: Refined Urea Complex, Kombuchka (kombucha + black tea ferment), Hyaluronic Acid.

I used it as I normally would any serum under my moisturiser and got good results. I can’t say that it wowed me enough to warrant the price of a repurchase.

Alpha H Liquid Laser with Hexapeptide Concentrate

Loving everything from Alpha H right now. I trialled the Alpha H Liquid Laser with Hexapeptide Concentrate in the travel size as part of a set. It’s a light serum that’s very hydrating and uses a cocktail of plant extracts, antioxidants and AHAs to firm and reduce pigmentation. Also includes Juveleven, a  Hexapeptide, which mimics the action of the Hydra Jellyfish and Hydranov-P, derived from Scandinavian Red Algae that stimulates synthesis Hyaluronic Acid in the skin by over 211%. It’s for night time use, every other night. I used it under my moisturiser but you can use it alone for an undiluted more potent effect.

Boots Time Delay Anti Ageing Wrinkle Reduce Eye Cream

I’ve bought this eye cream time and time again. It does the job perfectly and is friendly on the purse. It has an antioxidant skin-firming complex to firm and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also has light-diffusing particles to make skin more radiant.

Aurelia Probiotic Skin Care Miracle Cleanser

This finished all too soon for me, It was the first Aurelia product I’ve tried and certainly won’t be the last. I reviewed it here as part of my Beauty Expert skin care haul. Absolutely gorgeous!
