I’m pretty sure that if I mentioned the word Moringa in a game of word association you’d say cleansing balm. And if you did, that would be down to Emma Hardie and her best-selling Moringa Cleansing Balm which is always on the tip of beauty lovers’ tongues.
If you’re already a fan of the balm you’ll know the benefits of Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil that’s at the heart of her range and the vibrancy, plumpness and radiance it brings to skin. It’s a tissue-strengthener, and source of skin-essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidant-rich phytonutrients which help to rehabilitate dull skin and recover its vitality.
Well now Emma has brought out a new product – an intense face mask using Plant Stem Cell Beauty Bodyguard Resistem at 2% clinically tested level – to visibly improve skins evenness. It’s the Moringa Renewal Treatment Mask.
Ingredients also include:
- hyaluronic acid to help firm, condition and moisturise
- hyaluronic filling spheres to help plump the skin and smooth deep wrinkles through biotechnology
- red algae to reduce the appearance of pigmentation and to leave the skin more luminous
- amino acid derivative to brighten the skin, improve clarity and even out the complexion
- edelweiss extract to promote a soothing effect whilst possessing collagen and antioxidant qualities
Now you’ll know I love the effect of masks but I’m pretty lazy – I can’t really be bothered with the whole “apply it – wait a while – and then remove” routine as I often only remember I need a mask when I’m over-tired and need my bed. That’s why I love the choice of application that this mask gives you. The standard application is to apply generously over cleansed skin and leave for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. Not too much of a chore for such great results but there’s another way you can apply it for an intense treatment – you can leave it on overnight – so no waiting or rinsing just apply and sleep – oh yes! And if you’re in need of a cooling pick me up anytime then Emma’s tip is to put the mask in the fridge before use. Such an adaptable product and it smells gorgeous too!
I found that it sinks easily into the skin and immediately makes your skin look smoother and feel softer. I’ve only used this once so far so I’ll need to update you on the effects that it has over time – probably in an empties post as I’m pretty sure this is a product I’ll use all the way to the end.
