These last few weeks have been crazy! Finding a new home, moving in, and living without broadband for two weeks has been a challenge. So finally, today, I’m back online and it’s the end of April so I thought what better way to get back to blogging than writing an April empties post.
Institut Arnaud Hydra Absolu Replumping Serum
I bought this from TK Maxx when I’d run out of serum. It’s not in stock currently, but that’s the way things work there. I’ve reviewed it here. I found it to be really moisturising and plumped my skin just as it promised. If you can find this in the UK then I would say that you should snap it up!
Superdrug Intensive Foot Cream
Footcare is one of those areas of beauty that isn’t very …well…beautiful is it? Still, it’s always good to have a good foot cream to hand to make sure that your skin doesn’t get dry and flaky. This Superdrug Intensive Foot Cream is a really good emollient. The scent is a little on the minty side. Not something I really like in a foot cream but they almost all have that kind of scent. It’s a purse-friendly £3.49 here.
Vichy Purete Thermae Waterproof Eye-makeup Remover
Everyone can see from my blogs and tweets how much I enjoy using Vichy products and there is rarely one that disappoints. My review of Vichy Purete Thermae Waterproof Eye-makeup Remover is here. I’ve used it each evening to remove my make-up and then follow it with another cleanser, quite often that’s from Vichy too! It’s gentle and it works. It’s currently on offer here for£6.80.
This CCS Heel Balm is a good basic skin softener. I wouldn’t say that it’s a very deep-acting cream but I did use it each day to keep my skin smooth.
Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Body Lotion
When I was lucky enough to get a beautiful Viktor & Rolf gift from my daughter at Christmas it came with Bonbon scent, shower gel, and this gorgeous Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Body Lotion. The fragrance is exquisite, warm sweet caramel and I really haven’t found anything that beats it. The body lotion was so comforting, smoothing and softening. I loved it. The full size isn’t cheap but you won’t regret spending a penny on this lotion. You can find it here currently priced at £36.00.
Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 Eyes & Lashes
I’ve reviewed this Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 Eyes & Lashes here. It’s a calming, cooling, and soothing cream. Additionally, it’s a lash nourishing product. I’ve got really short lashes and this has helped them grow stronger and longer. It’s a good all-round product that I love. You can buy it here for £21.25.
Bioderma Sensible H2O Make-up Removing Micelle Solution
Since I’ve been blogging I’ve come to be a lover of French pharmacy brands. This Bioderma Sensible H2O Make-up Removing Micelle Solution is a great example of why that love has grown. It does what it says on the tin (erm I mean bottle!). I reviewed it here. It’s effective yet gentle. A little goes a long way. You can buy it here now for £4.80.
Decleor Aromessence Iris Rejuvenating Serum
This last product has only just run out this morning. It’s the Decleor Aromessence Iris Rejuvenating Serum. I reviewed it here. It smells divine and feels luxurious and decadent. I shall certainly be saving up my pennies to be able to buy more Decleor products in the future. You can find it here for £55.00.
I hope that you’ve enjoyed looking at all the products I’ve used up this month. I’m certainly really happy to be back blogging. Thanks so much for reading my posts and supporting me in something I love to do and share with you.

Glad you’re in a new place. Life without broadband must have been like the apocalypse! I can’t even imagine 2 hours let alone 2 weeks!

Thank you. I had access on my phone and at work but wasn’t easy to blog and I kept running out of data. I did get a £50 credit as an apology. Looking forward to the holiday weekend now!
