Just when you’re feeling disappointed that summer is over before it’s begun and there are too many days before pay-day along comes an event to put a smile on your face! This week the launch of the GOSH Cosmetics Autumn Winter 2015 range was the perfect excuse to spend some time with some friendly bloggers and PR folk, sipping champagne and getting the chance to play with new colours and products in the very chic Covent Garden Hotel.
The stars of the show were definitely the eight gorgeous new matt shades of Velvet Touch Lipstick. Pictured above are:
Left side from top: 001 Baby Lips, 002 Rose, 003 Antique, 004 Coral.
Right side from top: 008 Plum, 007 Cherry, 006 Raspberry, 005 Classic Red.
Key points:
- Matt finish
- Soft & creamy
- Long lasting wear with pleasant wearing comfort
- Highly pigmented for intense colour pay off
- Natural waxes keep lips moist and soothed
- Hyaluronic acid keeps lips hydrated and smooth
- Dermatalogically tested
My main problem with these is that I can’t decide which to try first!
There was quite a lot of excitement about the new Foundation Drops which is described as a new foundation with a unique ultra light texture formulated without water. A new nude and natural flawless finish.
Sadly there are only 5 shades: 002 Ivory, 004 Natural, 006 Tawny, 008 Honey, 010 Tan. Pictured below are: Ivory and Natural.
Key points:
- Soothing & hydrating
- Buildable coverage
- Silky flawless finish
- Argan oil & antiderm
- Protecting & anti-flammatoric
- SPF10
The target audience for this range is the millennium generation (1977 – 1998) but it takes a bit more than marketing strategy and jargon to put me off! I’m a Baby Boomer if we’re talking generational descriptors! It’s a range that suits my style and my pocket just fine thank you!
The Boombastic mascara is one of GOSH’s best-selling mascaras and this new version the Boombastic Swirl mascara with it’s unique brush and nourishing ingredients (Argan oil, Bamboo extract and Esters) is a welcome addition.
Last treat of the night was the new nail care range which complements the GOSH colour nail lacquer range. These are: nail & cuticle oil, 2 in 1 nail hardener, gel look top coat and fast dry drops.
Its been unbearable having to wait until I’d got all the photos taken before I can try out the products. I’m so excited to use them for work tomorrow and to tell you how they feel and last on the skin/nails.
As always, I’ll be reviewing them all in more detail pretty soon. They are all available exclusively in Superdrug.
