February may be the shortest month but it’s been a fabulous one for products. I’ve used up and discovered some brilliant products that I want to tell you about – so let’s kick off!
The Skimono Beauty Face Mask for Advanced Moisturisation (£14,99) is AMAZING! I honestly think that this it the first time I’ve used capital letters to share what I think about a beauty product. I want to jump right to what should be the end of this review and say that when I touched my skin after using the mask I was totally blown away. My skin didn’t even feel like skin it felt like porcelain – I mean actually as smooth as the feel of touching a porcelain cup!
Ok so let me go back a bit and tell you a bit more about the mask. It’s a targeted, bio-cellulose sheet mask that uses bio-cellulose that has been saturated in a unique serum to maximise absorption capacity. It has hydrophilic properties – it can retain up to 200 times its dry weight in serum – and it clings to the contours of your face for optimum penetration. The mask allows the skin to breathe during the 30 minute treatment.
Ingredients include: hyaluronic acid to attract moisture to the skin, alleviate dry patches and boost water retention capabilities; and extract of Damascus rose flower and honey to neutralise free radical damage and shield against environmental aggressors.
Promised results are brighter lifted skin with an even texture that ready for make up application. I really missed a trick here by using the mask before bed rather than ahead of a big event for maximum wow factor.
So, it was hard to say goodbye to these glorious products. I trialled the Caudalie Premier Cru the Serum £90, as well as The Cream (travel size – full size is £90), and The Eye Cream (travel size – full size is £49). I’ve reviewed them all here previously and there’s more in-depth on the Eye Cream here.
The Knight & Wilson Style Freedom Hair Detox Part 1 Purifier is the first part of the Hair Detox Kit £7.99 from Style Freedom’s hair care range at Superdrug. I’ve written all about it here already. I’m really impressed by this and all the products I’ve tried from the range.
The Korres Almond Cherry Shower Gel £8 is a a glorious rich textured beautifully scented delight. For those that don’t know KORRES is a Greek skin care brand, born out of Athens’ first ever homeopathic pharmacy. Their skincare products are based on natural active ingredients. Ingredients include wheat proteins to form a protective film on the skin and to maintain its hydration level; and active aloe to stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis and help reduce visible signs of ageing
I think that as far as skin care goes this is the one I aspire to buy the most. I’ve just fallen in love with the whole thing. So using up the last drops of my Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist £50 was a sad moment. You can read more about what I thought here.
And finally, my most recently used up product isn’t skin care but make up! It’s from fabulous Korean brand Touch in Sol and is the TOUCH IN SOL Browza Super Proof Gel Brow Pencil £15.50 in Taupe for Two. You can read a full introduction to the brand and what I love about the Browza here.
So that’s it for February. Am sure to have some more beauties here for you at the end of March. Thanks so much for reading, commenting and follwing me!

I’ve tried doing empties again in Feb but so far only ended up with 3, I guess that’s better than none! I use to really like KORRES brand, I don’t know why I stopped purchasing it tbh. That shower gel scent sounds amazing!

It does vary wirh how many empties I get and in the past I’ve done a couple of months together. I hardly ever run out of make up products though. This was my first Korres product and I would definitely use again.
