Introducing Emma Hardie Midas Touch Revitalising Eye Serum

When I was introduced to the Emma Hardie Midas Touch Revitalising Eye Serum I was told that this followed on from the very successful Midas Touch Face Serum – erm what? How did I miss that? Must have been in a bit of a blogger snooze – still once I heard that it existed I had to try it alongside the new launch so that I could get the full Midas Touch effect on this “boat race” of mine. (That’s cockney rhyming slang for face right? Apologies to true Londoners from this Hampshire Hog).

So what I’m trying to say is that as I’ll be introducing you to the eye serum but also catching up by reviewing the  face serum alongside it. Should have just said that in the first place really I suppose.

So, Emma tells us that the eye serum is designed to lift and tighten the eye contour area; fade dark circles and diminish puffiness; boost cellular renewal; moisturise and soothe.  It’s described as a lightweight serum and although it feels lightweight I find the texture is more like a cream/butter that needs to be patted on gently rather than the liquid or gel serum I was expecting.

Key ingredients include:

  • Beautifye technology  – to strengthen and lift, blur fine lines and fade dark circles.
  • Glycofilm – to protect against environmental damage
  • Hyaluronic acid – to hydrate and smoothe
  • Omegas 3,6  and 9, inca inchi and raspberry seed oil – to maintain skin elasticity,
  • Aloe vera and sweet almond oil – to soothe

I found that you only need a small amount. I mean really small – say only half the amount that comes out in one pump. So it really lasts well, meaning you can afford to try out Emma’s’ expert tip of applying the serum around the lip area to boost volume and improve skin texture and fine lines. What a bonus!

Midas Touch Face Serum

Now to catch you up on the Midas Touch Face Serum. It comes in two syringe-like containers each with 15ml of product. I’m guessing that’s for freshness. It certainly seems like a good idea to me.  Emma Hardie really does seem to have all the answers when it comes to skin care. This serum is designed to deeply hydrate and nourish skin as well as lifting, firming, plumping and tightening – what a multi-tasker! It also decreases fine lines and wrinkles and increases elasticity and collagen production. Phew – what a list!

Key ingredients in this intensively hydrating and firming super serum are:

  • Edelweiss stem cell culture – to decrease fine lines and wrinkles
  • Avocado peptides – to boost collagen production
  • Hyaluronic acid and glycoprotein – to boost hydration
  • Vivillume extract from wild banana seed – to increase volume and tone
  • Mica extract – to give a soft-focus, luminous radiant glow and minimise the appearance of pores, fine lines and imperfections.

Emma Hardie Midas Touch

So I’ve been trialling both the Midas Touch products (eye serum and face serum) for a little over 6 weeks. The face serum lasted around 6 weeks using it day and night quite generously and the eye serum is still going.  I’ve worn them all through the really hot period of weather we had in the UK this summer – often wearing little else on my face and feeling confident that my skin was looking as good as it could. During that time I’ve had one or two “surely you’re not 61” comments so I’m taking that as a sign that the Emma Hardie magic is working.

Have you tried these Midas Touch products yet? Or do you have other Emma Hardie favourites? Do share your thoughts with me in the comments and I’ll be sure to respond!
