Reviews – Latest Loves From La Roche-Posay

Effaclar BB cream2

It’s not often that a product really stands out for me. After almost two years of blogging, I’ve tried a fair few skincare and make-up products and there are only a few products that I can say have really wowed me and that have made me change my daily routine. This La Roche Posay Effaclar BB Blur is one of those!

Not available in the UK until January, I’m already worrying that I’ll run out of this product before I can buy a replacement. Yes, it’s that good! I’ve told you all about the promised effects and the ingredients before here but now I want to tell you what I think about it.

From the first brush stroke of this moussey formula BB cream it was like I was photoshopping my skin. It covered redness and blemishes immediately! The coverage feels really light but has the effect of medium coverage. With it I don’t need primer or powder the BB Cream is enough on its own and it stays on all day giving a matt look that isn’t drying or cakey.

I keep wanting to show it to everyone and let them try it but then I get scared that they’ll use it all up. I’m using the fair/light shade and there is one other shade choice which is light/medium. And that would be my only criticism that the shade range is limited and isn’t available in darker colours. Hope that this is rectified soon so that I can share this find with all of my friends and followers whatever their skin tone.

La Roche Posay Redermic C10

The other product that I’ve been using daily is the La Roche-Posay Redermic C10 – Correcting Filler. I came across this when I visited Omniya last month. ( More about that here) It came in my over-generous goodie bag (I’m not complaining but it meant that there were an awful lot of products to sift through and review!) and so it was a while before I really noticed it. Then when I revisited Omniya for a facial (read about that here if you missed it) I was recommended to apply a product containing Vitamin C so when I revisited my skincare stash I came across this beauty and thought I would give it a try. As well as having 10% pure Vitamin C for radiance it contains Hyaluronic Acid for moisture.

It aims to reveal your skin’s natural luminosity with this targeted tightening treatment suitable for sensitive skin. I had just learned that I had sensitive skin – not sure how I didn’t know this before really!

It’s a firming formula that acts on wrinkles instantly by absorbing into your skin to tone and diminish the appearance of fine lines. You can choose to apply it either in the morning or at night – you only need it once a day and it’s not greasy so you can apply make-up on top easily.

And the results? I’m really pleased with how firm my skin is at the moment and using Redermic C10 topped with the BB Cream is making me feel quite confident that my skin is looking its best.

So that’s why I just had to share these two great products with you! I’m pretty sure I’ll be coming back to you soon with more LRP reviews as I’ve got one or two more to review and I’m guessing that there’ll be good things to report.
