December went past in a flash and I didn’t get the chance to write an empties post and anyway I hadn’t used up many products so I thought I’d leave it till the end of January and now look what’s happened I’ve got a whole heap of stuff to tell you about! So make yourself a cup of coffee before you read this, it’s a good one!
Zo Skin Health Offects Hydrating Cleanser
This Offects Hydrating Cleanser is one of the new brands that I discovered when I visited Omniya. it gently cleanses and repairs surface damage too!
Offects Hydrating Cleanser includes panthenol to soothe repair and restore and allantoin to clean away dead skin cells and supports cellular renewal.
I can tell you I loved this product and used it all up before I had a chance to review it!

Superdrug Hairspray Extra Firm Hold
It’s really been quite a while since I bought or used any hairspray but this came in such a handy size that I started to carry it around and use it. It worked well, didn’t have a toxic smell or make me cough and it’s only £1.49 for 300ml here
La Roche Posay Redermic C10
Recommended by the experts at Omniya I knew that I needed a product that contained Vitamin C. I’ve already reviewed this La Roche Posay Redermic C10 for you here.
Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel
This Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel is one of the super Vichy Normaderm range. I’ve had it a while but returned to it recently to finish it up! It’s available here for £11.50.
Burberry Kiss Lipstick Nude Pink
This is such a great quality product, even the sample is so well presented. I used it up to the last bit and then bought the full size. I love that it has a magnetic case that closes with a reassuring click and of course, has the trademark Burberry print on the case and the lipstick itself. I reviewed it here and it cost £25 here.
Roger & Gallet Gingembre Rouge Lait Sorbet
Gorgeous to look at and beautifully scented I used this body lotion every night particularly on my feet and shins to keep dryness away and to make me feel great. I reviewed the lotion and shower gel here. The lotion costs £14 here.
Paul Mitchell Forever Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner
So I’ve used up two-thirds of this Paul Mitchell gift set and would probably have used up the other third if I could remember where I put it! Great looking and effective products I’ve reviewed them here. The set cost £35 but is now out of stock but you can buy the products in other sets and sizes here.
Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods Moisturising Hand Wash
From the traditional English brand Woods of Windsor, this was a treat that I love having in my bathroom. It’s a class act. It’s reviewed here and costs just £5.99 but is currently on offer for £3 for 350ml here.
This little sample packed a whole lot of staying power! Loved how it made the colour of my shadow true to the pan too. I reviewed it here. You can buy the full size here for £21.50.
Nuskin is a brand that I don’t really feel I’ve got the true measure of. I’ve tried so many products from their range and without fail they deliver on their promise. They are a little pricey though and the packaging doesn’t quite hit the spot for me. Still, I’ve used every drop of this Nuskin Tru Face Ideal Eyes it must be good! It costs £42.41 here.
Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner
A light hydrating toner that doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight. It comes with a pump spray so that you can spritz your face allowing it to dry on your skin after cleansing. Must have had a duff bottle though as my pump failed after a couple of uses. Still loved it so much that I used it on cotton wool pads instead – to the very last drop. Containing cucumber and arnica this Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner costs £27.30.
I resisted the hype as long as I could and then I got sucked in after I tried this sample size Benefit They’re Real Mascara. A brilliant mascara that surprisingly was further improved by using the Benefit They’re Real Primer Mascara underneath. The primer mascara costs £18.50 here and the mascara is £19.50 here.
So I’m pretty proud of myself for using up things and not going out and spending on more new things! There are definitely one or two things here that I’ll miss though and can see myself repurchasing. Are there any of your favourites here?
