Empties – January 2017

Almost forgot to post this! It was only seeing someone tweeting about their January empties that reminded me! Always love doing these posts. First because I’m proud that I’ve used things up right to the end and not wasted them and second because I want tot ell you what it was about these products amongst the hundreds of products I receive that made them special.

Alpha H Liquid Laser Cleansing Oil

There’s always a place in my cleansing routine for the product that I use first to take off my make-up and that’s usually a cleansing balm. But this beauty, the Alpha H Liquid Laser Cleansing Oil with white mulberry is something special. I’ve posted all about the super lady behind the brand here and it was not surprise to me that this is a really effective product.

It’s designed to brighten and moisturise whilst it removes makeup perfectly and contains ferulic acid, white mulberry and hibiscus. A substantial 100ml size will cost you £35.94 here.

Dermalogica Overnight Repair Serum

Loved using this Dermalogica Overnight Repair Serum to the very last drop! I’ve reviewed this in detail here and you’ll see that it’s a winner. Mine came as part of a gift set but it’s available here priced £58.50.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum

I’m reasonably new to using Caudalie products, I’d say in the last year really and this Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum was such a pleasure to use. No only did it feel and look great but it ticked all my packaging boxes too. Gorgeous! You can read my full review here and if you like what you read it’s available price £28.80 here right now (RRP £32).

Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

I don’t suffer from dandruff I can’t comment on the efficacy of this Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo in that respect. What I can say is that it’s a really refreshing shampoo that smells great. Alongside the ginger extract that gives it its name it included birch bark extract, white willow bark extract and Community Trade honey from Ethiopia. It’s also reasonable priced at £6 for 250ml here.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel

I originally trialled the La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel as part of the 3 step system. You can read that review here but it didn’t really work for me as a regime. More recently I’ve returned to used the gel as a second stage cleanser in my beauty routine (after a balm or oil cleanser that takes off make up) and it’s worked really well. La Roche Posay are one of my favourite brands for skincare and if it’s your thing too you can buy it here where it’s currently on offer here for just £7.59 (RRP £11.50)

Sachajuan Volume Conditioner

Love this hair care brand that I was introduced to last year! You can find my review of this Volume Conditioner and other products in the range here.

So that’s it for another month! Hope that you’ve discovered something new or interesting here. Do let me know if you have any questions about anything you’ve seen – I’d love to help!
